Model 175 composite brake blocks for passenger cars are standard matching disc brake composite brake blocks for China railway passenger cars, which are asbestos-free and environment-friendly brake components. They consist of two parts: Q235 steel back and asbestos-free composite friction body. Compatible with 175 mm brake discs for China railway passenger cars, they are widely used in the basic braking systems of main passenger car models such as 25G and 25K. These brake blocks generate braking force by rubbing against the end face of brake discs to slow down or stop trains. They feature stable friction coefficient, long wear-resistant service life, low braking noise, minor damage to brake discs, and asbestos-free composition that meets environmental protection requirements, and fully comply with China railway industry standards including TB/T 3541.3-2018 and TB/T 3470.2-2025.

Product Description

Model 175 composite brake pad is a paired arc-shaped non-asbestos organic brake friction part for Chinese standard railway passenger coaches, fully compliant with TB/T 3541.3-2018 railway standard.


Each pad adopts a three-section friction surface with two through cooling slots, symmetric left-right matching structure to perfectly fit Φ175 standard passenger car brake disc. It consists of phosphated Q235 carbon steel back and integrated hot-pressed semi-metallic friction compound, with zero asbestos and low heavy metal formula complying with REACH regulation.


The double through slots greatly improve heat convection during continuous braking to avoid thermal fade and disc cracking. Its friction coefficient remains stable from -40℃ to 380℃, with low wear rate and excellent noise reduction performance, minimizing scratch damage to brake discs.


Designed for 25G & 25K passenger trains with max operating speed 160km/h, suitable for main line railway, long downhill and humid tunnel working conditions. All products pass full batch performance tests including friction durability, peel strength and thermal shock test, with long service life over 120,000 km and low maintenance cost.
