Product Overview: The CT-Esubway brake block is an asbestos-free, low-friction synthetic tread brake shoe designed for standard subway vehicles with 840 mm wheel diameter. It features a curved monolithic structure (as shown in the figure), manufactured through hot-pressing of a friction element and a steel backing, compatible with mainstream domestic subway A/B-type tread braking systems and compliant with the T/CAMET 04004.10 industry standard for urban rail synthetic brake shoes.

  1. Product Overview: The CT-E subway brake block  is an asbestos-free, low-friction synthetic tread brake shoe designed for standard subway vehicles with 840 mm wheel diameter. It features a curved monolithic structure (as shown in the figure), manufactured through hot-pressing of a friction element and a steel backing, compatible with mainstream domestic subway A/B-type tread braking systems and compliant with the T/CAMET 04004.10 industry standard for urban rail synthetic brake shoes.

    Backside II: Structural and Material Specifications   Friction material: Asbestos-free resin-based semi-metallic composite containing graphite, copper fibers, and inorganic friction fillers; free from dust contamination and non-damaging to wheel tread surfaces. The curved working surface precisely conforms to the wheel's curvature, ensuring uniform braking contact.

    Steel backing base: stamped low-carbon steel plate with reserved material-gathering grooves/positioning clips on the inner side, integrally formed with the friction component through high-temperature hot pressing, offering high bonding strength and resistance to delamination or detachment; equipped with dedicated positioning clips at the bottom for direct installation with brake shoe supports.

    External characteristics: The overall design features a long, curved profile without segmented grooves; corners are chamfered for smoothness. It exhibits no abnormal braking noise and minimal thermal degradation, with stable friction performance under both dry and wet conditions, making it suitable for frequent start-stop braking scenarios in urban subway systems.
